Healing Black Smoothie
This smoothie is a wonderful alternative to your Western breakfast of a milky coffee and glutenous toast.
It is full of beautiful greens which your liver and body will love, packed full of antioxidants that protect your body from toxins.
With a mix of the greens and deep purple colours... My smoothies usually blend into an almost black colour... And they are delicious!
You can have this smoothie anytime but I like to have it about 1 hour after my morning vegetable juice.

HEALING BLACK SMOOTHIES
This recipe makes 1 smoothie
Ingredients
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries - Organic or wild is best.
1 x Packet of frozen acai (or 1/2 cup)
1 x Teaspoon of organic spirulina powder
1 x Teaspoon of organic barley grass powder
1 x Tablespoon frozen spinach leaves
1 x Cup of filtered water or coconut water for sweetness
Method
1. Add all the above ingredients into a blender
2. Add ice or change liquid dosage if you want a thicker consistency
3. Enjoy :)
